The Church which is His Body II

This is the second sharing in the series of the Church which is His Body.  In Exodus God delivered Israel to Bring them out of bondage to a land flowing with milk and honey.  He brought them to himself.  Over and over again He said He was bringing this people to himself.

Exodus 19:4-6 “You yourselves have seen what I did to the Egyptians, and how I bore you on eagles’ wings, and brought you to Myself. Now then, if you will indeed obey My voice and keep My covenant, then you shall be My own possession among all the peoples, for all the earth is Mine; and you shall be to Me a kingdom of priests and a holy nation.” These are the words that you shall speak to the sons of Israel.

In John's Gospel Jesus said,  "I will come again and receive you unto myself."  Later in the same Chapter He said "At that day you will know I am in my Father, you are in me, and I am in you."  Through His death, burial, and resurrection Jesus has brought a people out of Egypt and to Himself.  He is our promised land.  Glory to God.
