Moving forward in faith requires an unwavering commitment to obey God

Hebrews 11:6 And without faith it is impossible to please him, for whoever would draw near to God must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who seek him.

The Bible teaches us that fear will highjack our faith and ruin our future.

Don’t FORFEIT your FUTURE by not putting your FAITH in God

1. unified calling — 13:1-20 

John 20:21 Jesus said to them again, “Peace be with you. As the Father has sent me, even so I am sending you.” 

Matthew 28:19-20 Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20 teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.”

2. unbelieving congregation — 13:25-14:1-4 

3. unwavering conviction — 14:6-9 

Numbers 14:9 Only do not rebel against the Lord. And do not fear the people of the land, for they are bread for us. Their protection is removed from them, and the Lord is with us; do not fear them.”

Confidence in God is a conviction that God will keep His promises 

4. unfortunate consequences — 14:22-24 

REBELLION against God will always lead to REGRET 

5. unlimited capabilities
