It’s trick-or-treating season, and we have a couple of films to talk about. Are they tricks or treats? You'll find out as Mark is on hosting duties for this week!
First up is the news. We talk about who's cast as Furiosa in the Mad Max spin-off, Dexter’s (hopefully) triumphant return, and when The Fast & The Furious franchise intends on hanging its steering wheel for good.
Our Variety Time segment is on the season finale of HBO's Lovecraft Country. With all the magic in this show and all the high marks it gets, we can’t wait to break it down "Full Circle" for you.
And last but not least, our Recent Review is Netflix's The Trial of the Chicago 7. We’ve paired that with Disney's Hocus Pocus as our Geriatric Cinematic. If you haven’t already guessed, it’s courtroom trial vs. Salem witch trial. You’re welcome.
Next week's show will be filled with witches once again. The dynamic duo will break down WB's The Witches for their Recent Review and we see if it'll hold up against the original 1990's The Witches. The 2020 remake will be streaming on October 22nd on HBO Max and you can catch the classic version streaming on Netflix or other VOD services.
