But online, she is an enigma; A seemingly successful celebrity who, despite not needing to post, not only has poster's brain, but has also innovated the format. Whether it's explaining structural privilege to a harmless fan on Instagram, sharing inspirational quotes by Louis Farrakhan on pastel backdrops, or (supposedly) not discovering Iraq was a country until her 20s, Jamil's posts operate at a level far beyond us. So, we ask : Is Jameela simply a celebrity whose posting addiction can get the better of her? Or, is she a time traveller, who understood, long before anyone else, the devastating effects of the Bank of England being allowed to control interest rates?
