Nozick on “Historical Justice” verses “End-State Justice” and Slavery to the Government. Historical Justice defines justice in terms of the history of events and our subsequent positions in life; where we end up. End-State declares an Ideal (“Utopia”) and rules with force the society according to it, without consideration of History or often, free choice. Then we look at the Finnish example of a more Nozick-like society than ours. What’s school like in Finland (besides wonderfully multi-lingual)?
