Covid lockdown controversy comes before the Supreme Court again. This time, the case deals with who is exempt from Covid restrictions, brought on by a Roman Catholic Diocese and Orthodox synagogues in Brooklyn. These religious organizations are challenging Cuomo’s order to limit gatherings to 10-25 people. Previously SCOTUS has thrown out such cases because the justices did not feel they were qualified to make this call. This time around, with a new justice and further into the Pandemic, things may be different.
