This week Julie chats with Dr. Angela Collins from Florida Sea Grant about her long history of angler-involved research, her love of all Florida reef fishes, and how being a mom has allowed her to become a "recovering work-a-holic". Plus we chat diving stories, our amazement over fish species that change sex, and a host of other topics. This episodes also includes one of the most harrowing and amazing field stories I've ever heard!
As a note: I let my 3-year-old watch videos next to me while we were recording because he wanted to say hi to Angela. You will definitely hear times when he wanted to be a part of the conversation.
Her main point: make space for a variety of voices!
