Kirk Harper is a singer and songwriter from Winnipeg, Manitoba. He is the frontman of the band, The Mosquitoz, who have toured all over the country for many years. As a Sixties Scoop Survivor, Mr. Harper spent several years jumping from foster family to foster family. In the podcast, he shares some of his experiences in the foster care system and mentions the many forms of racism he encountered during his time in the system.
