This week on the pod Dave, John and Jeff discuss out Christmas Movies that may not be family friendly but deserve their conversation. We open with a debate about Bad Santa: the gimmick vs the satire, ultimately agreeing that it's a funny movie with lots to talk about. We then segue to The Ref starring Dennis Leary, Kevin Spacey and Judy Davis. This film is not family friendly since it's about a robbery and kidnapping on Christmas Eve, not because of the Kevin Spacey stuff. It's funny, but does it go far enough? We wrap up with Anna and the Apocalypse, a little-movie--musical-that-could indie picked up by Amazon Prime, which is about a zombie apocalypse in a small Scottish town that is also a Christmas movie. Give it a watch!
