Run the Race of Faith - Pastor Mike Hovland

Hebrews 12:1-2

These have been some of the most difficult days for the church in recent memory. The government has told us that only fifteen percent of us can meet at one time for worship. Businesses have been closed or severely reduced. People are uncertain about the future. A pastor in Ontario was charged for keeping their church open during the pandemic. He faces a $10 000 to $100 000 fine and up to a year in prison. Grace Bible Fellowship has similarly committed to keeping our doors open. We could face similar fines or penalties from the governing authorities. What should our response be? The Hebrew believers were facing a similar situation. The author of Hebrews exhorted them to run the race of faith with endurance.
