No business like discussing the cyberpunk masterpiece that is the 1982 film Blade Runner, it's multiple recut versions, the book source material by Phillip K. Dick, the '90s computer game, it's unofficial sequel (by the same writer!) called Soldier, it's official sequel 2049 and other interesting facts. Did you know there was a Total Recall show that bore far better resemblances to this franchise? Did you know that the Blu-Ray special features for Prometheus indicate that this in the same universe as Alien??
Why does Ridley Scott do such a good job with the original masterpiece despite not properly understanding the original script??? Why is the sequel one of few yet rarest examples of proper send-offs in recent film history (by most film purists)???? We also end up discussing how Total Recall and the Netflix show Altered Carbon both seem to be love letters to this as well (and much, much more!).
