The EG Success Mindset Podcast
Education:Self-Improvement
Quote of the day:
Orison Swett Marden founder of the SUCCESS magazine.
“There is no medicine like hope, no incentive so great, and no tonic so powerful as expectation of something tomorrow.”
What is Attitude?
Attitude is the composite of your thoughts, feelings/emotions and actions toward a particular task, object, person, thing, or event.
If we are to do things differently this year, we must seek understanding of who we are and how we operate. Have you realised how easy it is for people to be offended nowadays? If we can not stand constructive criticism, how can we get better?
Proverbs 29:1 says: He who is stubborn/ rebellious/ obstinate or hardens his neck and refuses instruction after being often reproved (corrected, criticised), will suddenly be broken beyond repair.
Do you have areas that you would need help to improve or change? All of us do! If you think you don’t, remember the area which you blame someone else and there is a place to start.

To better understand attitude properly, it is wise that we examine the three parts of our personality that form it:
So while it’s simple to grasp the definition of attitude, we can see that it is much more complicated that the behaviour we observe. To change ones attitude then, we must examine this parts in depth.
If we can genuinely investigate why we behave the way we do towards ourselves and others, we can improve the relationships for the better… would you agree?
“The greatest day in your life and mine is when we take total responsibility for our attitudes. That's the day we truly begin to grow up.”
John C. Maxwell
