On this episode of the podcast, we recapped what was an phenomenal fight card which we called: "A Card for the Underdogs" which exceeded all expectations.
We went into depth about the main event which was a complete upset and witnessed Dustin Poirier demolish Conor McGregor in spectacular fashion. Also, we discussed what is next for both fighters as it adds more depth to the "shark tank" of the lightweight division. That being said, we also discussed Michael Chandler's knockout over Australia's own Dan Hooker. We talked about what the current route will be like for the newest edition to the lightweight division on his way to a potential title shot.
Another topic of discussion was Dana White's war on illegal streamers and why he has such a desire to bring them down in the first place. We mentioned that pay per views is a massive input for the UFC and why streaming platforms are what hinder the company's growth
