John Silva is the News Literacy Project’s, senior director of education and training. He joined NLP after a 13 year career as a middle and high school social studies teacher with Chicago Public Schools. Prior to becoming a teacher John was in the U.S. Marine Corps, after which he spent several years in corporate telecommunications
