Introduction 

 

Generosity is not something God wants FROM us,

it’s something he wants FOR us

 

a generous life guarantees a life of gain

 

1. Generosity Reveals our Faith in the Promise of God - vv.19-20

 

 

When your trust is in the promises of God your possessions belong to him.

 

It is not wrong to possess things, it is wrong when they possess you

 

Christ desires not to deprive us of treasure but to direct us in the choice of it

 

Whatever we think we own is just on loan.
