Hey folks! We have a pretty somber episode for you this time. But the films are worth your attention, we promise. First, we get into the news with our talk about Donald Glover and Phoebe Waller-Bridge collaborating, and Gina Carano's poor decisions are super fun to make fun of.
Our Recent Review is Judas and the Black Messiah, and our Geriatric Cinematic is Spike Lee's Malcolm X. The discussion between Kelsey and Mark gets pretty heavy but you're gonna want to hear what they have to say about these two amazing films.
We also receive a message from a friend of ours asking Kelsey about her experience in the military versus military films. The most realistic military film is Starship Troopers, right? Also, we have a special announcement for our What The F**k Did We Just Watch Segments.
Next week's show is gonna be a bit more laid back. Our Recent Review will be the Frances McDormand starring movie Nomadland and we pair that we 2004's The Motorcycle Diaries. You can find the latest Chloé Zhao directed film premiering on Hulu on February 19th. The biopic of Che Guevara is streaming on NBC's Peacock and is available to rent on Amazon, Google Play, YouTube, and other VOD services.
