So often when things go wrong the first one we tend to blame is God.
"God, how could You let this happen?"
"God, why didn't You do something about that?"
"God, do You even care?"
The we take matters into our own hands and try to be our own savior...
At the moment we are experiencing record-breaking winter storms in Texas and many people are without power in below freezing temperatures.
When you're the one who is facing bone-chilling cold, no water and no electricity, there is such a temptation to be angry at God because of the circumstances you find yourself in.
As always, Jesus has an invitation for us, and a way to help us navigate these times when we just don't understand why things look bad.
There is a hopeful way to see what is really going on and to navigate it from the powerful place of knowing how loved we are by our Heavenly Father.
