Vanished Sense During the Satanic Panic, McMartin PreSchool Trials

Athena tells you about the McMartin Preschool Trials and how the term "Satanic Panic" came into the collective forethought. We start this roller coaster by learning a bit about Judy Johnson, the mother who kicked off the initial investigation with police. The mother that the press lied about and still to this day, untruthfully, accuse of having severe mental illness. Just like in the Franklin Scandal and The Marc Dutroux case, the media started an active campaign of lies and slander about the victims of sexual abuse.
