Thinking Out Loud: A Podcast On Grief And Mental Health
Health & Fitness:Mental Health
Trigger warning: In this episode we talk about suicide.
On this week’s episode we are joined by a special guest, Jodie, who has blessed us with her time and presence to share her experience with grief following the death of her sister Georgia.
Jodie opens up about her grief journey and how she has mentally dealt with the loss of her sister. Georgia (who she also refers to as George) died by suicide on the 4th December 2017. We talk about suicide, what is the correct phrase to use when talking about a suicide related death, the misconceptions of suicide, ways mental health for students can be improved, and much more.
Jodie runs an Instagram page called @living.with.loss_ which she uses as a safe space to talk about grief, mental health and share experiences of this new life without her sister.
