Hidey Ho! We’ve got your reviews here and a show full of shenanigans. First up, we talk about Edgar Wright directing Stephen King’s Running Man, a MoviePass docuseries coming to HBO produced by Mark Wahlberg, and Daft Punk splitting up in our news segment. The Recent Review for this week is Nomadland, and it’s winning a lot as it makes its rounds through the awards circuit. We talk about if this film lives up to the hype. Our What The F*** Did We Just Watch sees Mark dragging Kelsey through the DCEU starting with Man of Steel.
Our Geriatric Cinematic is The Motorcycle Diaries, which follows Che Guevara before he was known. Of course, Mark already knew who he was but it was a good little history lesson for Kelsey. The question still remains, do any of these films hold up, or do they need to ride off into the sunset like protagonists ending their journey at dusk?
Next week's show is filled with cons and chaos! Our Recent Review will be the movie I Care A Lot. We'll have that movie duke it out with A Fish Called Wanda for our Geriatric Cinematic. You can find the Rosamund Pike starring movie streaming on Netflix and the 1988 heist comedy film to rent on Google Play, Amazon, YouTube, or other VOD services.
