In this episode, we are talking about consistency, in particular, being a leader that is consistent in how they treat their teams, how they handle problems, how they praise, how they communicate, and how they follow through on commitments.
I think we can all relate to a boss or supervisor that we had at some point in our career that failed to maintain a sense of consistency. Perhaps that leader was us, we were the one that was inconsistent. The challenge in having a leader that is inconsistent is that it’s hard for that leader to build trust, loyalty, and dedication.
Be a leader that follows through on their commitments. If you can’t do what you say, don’t say it to begin with. If you say it, do it. Be a leader that can be relied upon to keep their word.
So, may challenge to you today – be a leader that is consistent. Consistent in treating employees the same, consistent in delivering accountability, consistent in praise, and consistent in keeping your commitments. In doing so, you are going to be a well respected leader with loyal and dedicated employees who are willing to go the extra mile to ensure your team is successful.
Be the best version of you!
Jayme
