Episode 003 - Toby Gorniak (Refugee to MBE)

Toby is a Romany Gypsy from Poland who fled to the UK at a young age due to the persecution, racism and violence he and his family had suffered. We talk about his childhood, the decision to flee Poland due to the fear of losing their lives, seeking Refuge in the UK and his growth within his new community using Dance to positively influence 'hard to reach youths'.  He inspires and galvanises communities through respect and peace, which was recognised by being awarded an MBE from the Queen.
