Up the fuck’s what, fuckamuthas?! Welcome to the third volume of the Black Lives Matter Edition! Why? Don’t even with that shit, ‘cause you know why. Don’t you play fuckin’ dumb with me, goddammit. Here, lemme break it down anyway: because they fuckin’ do, and what it’s about is addressing the systemic issues that have far too long made them feel like they don’t. Also, because black lives matter whether it’s an election year or not, whether it’s black history month or not, 24/7/365, goddammit. I’m fairly certain I said this in one of my earlier BLM editions, but I’ll say it again.
Do you pitiful little white supremacists have any idea how fuckin’ barren the American cultural landscape would be without black people? I can scarcely imagine what the rest of your lives must be like outside of the white supremacy rhetoric. That is, if you’re actually consistent with it, and don’t partake in anything that black people have contributed throughout history. Of course, that’s not the case. Consistency has never been a strong characteristic of those with hateful, divisive ideologies. If you could only extract your fuckin’ craniums from your vice-grip sphincters for a second, take a breath of fresh air and realize how rich reality can be when you actually appreciate it with compassion for your fellow man, acknowledging how little you truly know of the world around you, living with an insatiable desire to learn new things, new perspectives, new people…
Anyway, that sentence ran right out the fuckin’ door and down the street. The point is obvious though, isn’t it? Life can indeed be rich, no matter how poor you are now. When you choose intellectual and/or cultural poverty, I just don’t have it in me to waste pity on you. Your lives are certainly sad, no matter how much time you spend bullshitting yourselves. Anyway, as if anyone to whom this applies would ever listen to this podcast, or actually be swayed back to some sort of rationality by a random fuckhead’s opinions… Ah well, their loss.
Let’s discuss a little about what we’ll be hearing this week, shall we? Simply put, we’re goin’ all over the fuckin’ genre map this week. We’ve got hip-hop, R&B, spoken word, pop, rock, funk, soul, trap, dubstep, drum ’n’ bass, fuckin’ Detroit techno, jazz, blues, and if that ain’t enough for ya, I dunno. Tough shit, I guess? I don’t do this to fuckin’ entertain you, goddammit. I’m always delighted to hear if you are entertained, but this awesome shit exists whether you yojne it or not. Life’s just so much sweeter spent in pursuit of the yojne. Wouldn’t ya say? I would say, and I am sayin’, and I will say, so here I fuckin’ go…
Ready? Set? Yojne!
