A year ago today, I was in Southern California for work, and decided to make a side trip to Los Angeles to catch a hockey game, concert, and comedy show, all while the world began shutting down. From the moment I picked up the rental car at 3 PM till when I arrived some 10.5 hours later at the hotel in Carlsbad, the world became a different place.
I decided to start this "311 Day" recapping the day that was in 2020 one year ago today, which was the final day of the "old normal." What have we learned since then? And if so, were those lessons good ones?
