In this chapter, the two older children confess to the professor that they don't know how to deal with Edmund and Lucy and they are not sure who to believe. The professor helps them understand that the only logical answer is that Lucy must be right. Before they have a chance to sort this out, the run away from the housekeeper who is taking tourists on a tour of the house and they have to run into the wardrobe to escape the tour.
