The C. Melita Webb Poetry and Life
Religion & Spirituality:Spirituality
Hello, and thank you for joining us for a few inspirational moments and loving conversations with C. Melita Webb. Today we discuss a trend of anger, grief, and pain. I listen to people all day, and the reoccurring theme in their despair is pain. Discomfort is often hidden deep and not recognized.
As I listen to their voices, I close my eyes. I sense their pain, and I hear the tremors in their throat. I discern the wounds in their words. People of every age, race, and denomination. We are each seeking more peace, unity, love, and understanding.
One things that keep certain people from joining the fight for change is a lack of transparency. Therefore we often miss our neighbors' struggle. Often our heads are down, and we miss the unspoken calls for help? We miss the tears that distance blurs, and those tears are smoke signals.
Though we may view our pains differently, clearly, pain is pain. Thank you for your time and encouragement.
