Maybe I’m the crazy one here, but fascists and shouldn’t be allowed to run in political races. Democracy doesn’t require we allow everyone to run. The US already has restrictions on the presidency, as do most systems. I can much more easily justify banning fascists from the presidency than one can 25 year olds or non-native citizens. What is the standard of democracy we should accept?
