One of the most frustrating symptoms of Menopause is brain fog. The memory loss and frustration can last for many years. What can women do to improve their memory?
While attending the Wise Pause Event, we spoke with Dr. Anju Mathur. Dr. Mathur is the medical director and owner of Angel Longevity Medical Center. After 15 years of working in general medicine, Dr. Mathur turned to alternative methods to focus on overall wellness, rather than treating and suppressing just symptoms.
This episode addresses brain fog, a/k/a the menobrain. Loss of estrogen as we age plays a large role in memory loss and cognitive health. Dr. Mathur recommends bioidentical estrogens to improve memory and cognitive function. We discuss the types of estrogen and how they affect the aging brain.
