Ministry Goals

1 Timothy 4:6-16 If we trust the Lord and obey his word in making disciples, then we will see God provide: A. Many Faithful Ministers (v. 6-11) Characteristics of a Good and Faithful Servant: 1. He instructs the church in the truth. 2. He is well-nourished in the truth. 3. He practices what he preaches. 4. He rejects foolish myths and old-wives fables. 5. He trains himself in godliness. 6. He is a hard worker. 7. He is willing to suffer reproach. 8. He teaches the bible with authority. B. More Fruitful Ministry (v. 12-16) Characteristics of Leadership in the Church: 1. Leaders set a good example. 2. Leaders nurture biblical ministry. 3. Leaders fulfill their calling. 4. Leaders devote themselves to shepherding. 5.
