Welcome to Episode 197 where we look at when we don't take responsibility for our behavior, we can act out in a variety of ways. These behaviors can be harmful to ourselves and those around us and can create a cycle of blame and defensiveness that makes it difficult to move forward and grow.
In this episode we talk about such an important part of self-confidence, and that is owning our behavior, regardless of how we feel or what others may be saying or doing. Our behavior is so interconnected with our communication, so we look at some pretty unhealthy ways we can act in an emotionally immature way, from deflecting responsibility by being defensive to the nasty gaslighting and everything in between. Being an emotionally safe, trustworthy, and honest human is the best way to not only feel better about ourselves, but to create healthier connections with others.
